"Our party of six had a lovely time at Cafe Jacques. I called ahead the day before (everyone speaks English) and was able to reserve an outside table, which was great so we could observe the neighborhood as well. The server/host explained that the menu, in German, was inside on the wall, and while there was no wine/drink menu, she could recommend pairings for us based on our selections, or we could ask for anything and she could probably deliver it (which she did!). One would think it could be costly, but everything was quite reasonably priced. The food was superb. Highly recommend the steak, and my husband got a chicken dish that he loved. The service was excellent; the host had a bit of a dry sense of humor."

"I'm reluctant to give to much praise, not because they don't deserve it, but because it would not become them to be too popular."

"I went here for drinks with friends and got a few snacks. The appetizers we ordered were lovely. Wonderful dim lighting and great menu and service. Beautiful lighting fixtures make for great ambience, sadly flanked by some very bad cliché art! If they took it down it would make this place even more attractive and special. Great place, wonderful location. I will return again to try their dinner!"

"nice fish dishes and the waiter really tried to provide friendly and fast service. Sometimes it felt a bit rushed, the fish dishes we had was great and so was the wine selection. Some of the dishes are not typical French, but they do have a changing menu. Recommend to go during evening hours to see the sunset, lights are beautiful and in a rather quiet corner. A bit on the prier side."
